On a modified 2.1 was running 92 on a gentle pootle, high 90's at motorway speeds, moving into the 100-105 with hard running at high speed. Idle saw no higher that 92. Oil cooler now fitted. 90 in most scenarios. Hard running no higher than 96.

include where the sensor is located on your set up guys as it probably matters.

Sensor position above no.3 cylinder.
Gauge is a Stack Pro Control, with matched sensor.
Oil is whatever subaru dealership put in at last service (Previous owner) and is midway point to being changed again.

At this time of year normal is indicated around the 100 Deg C point. Drops below (98 ish) on calm low rev driving or idling. Raises up to 110 ish on Motorway. 105deg on the A road to work with bursts of rapidness.

2.0 wrx PPI 2005 motor with 40 odd K on clock.

the reason your temps are higher than normal is due to the fmic cutting airflow.
mine went from 85 to around 98 when the fmic was fitted

nothing to worry about as up to 110 is fine.

The temps on my 05 Jdm Sti dont go much higher than 90 degrees even when stuck in traffic after some spirited driving. I have a front mount now and its still running the same temps a when I had a top mount. Gauge is an unknown make from Ebay though. Steve.
