Default Parallel fuel mod with regulator, hoses and fittings

Evening all!

I'm in the middle of doing the reverse inlet manifold mod on my blobeye and have hit a stumbling block.

I planned to flip the factory fuel rails with the manifold and extend the fuel lines over but this blocks the inlet pipe but unfortunately if you maintain the factory position of the rails, the fuel line blocks the turbo (mine is in its factory location).

As a result, I am going to need to go parallel fuels, aftermarket fuel regulator, braided hoses and fittings.

I've found the cdf rails at £160 but could anyone recommend a regulator, hoses and fittings, lengths if they've done it before themselves etc

Thanks for the help!

Adam

Hello Adam,

There are many regulators around but very good are the Aeromotive,Fuellab and there
are some options using regulator housing for bosch regulators(fixed pressure or adjustable).
Regarding the hoses IMO the Goodridge is the best but there ARE also the Earl's and the Speedflow(last two are from Australia IRC).
All these brands has their own parts with good quality.
Me I will use a dead head fuel system(hope it will work) with Radium engineering FPR housing and bosch 4bar FPR with Goodridge -8 AN 811 hose!!!
For rails there are also many places which make their own such as RCM,LATERAL PERFORMANCE,SCOOBY CLINIC,
I am not sure but I think COSWORTH also makes fuel rails.APS,
Google it and you'll found TOO many results.
It's up to you how much you want to spend.
I'll see what pics I have regarding the fuel path and I'll post.
Hope I helped till now.
Regards
Harry

In the middle of doing this myself, bought all fittings from a company called torques.

They can be found on eBay and all of their products are second to none and all based on the Goodrich items with the same quality, quite a few members on here have used them. They also supply different grades and diameter of fuel pipes along with fuel pressure regulators, pumps, filters etc, well worth looking at imho.

I have a set of billet rails here for a newage sti if any good to you, they didn't fit mine as it's a JDM and I didn't realise they are different fittings to a uk blob sti.

From memory i bought 4 meters of fuel line but used a little over 3 ( probably could have made it from 3 Mtrs tbh )

Here is a link to them if it helps

There are also plenty of traders on here that can supply what you require, I just posted the reference to them as that's where I bought mine and what I've had dealings with (advantage of being local )

I've also used torques unions and fuel lines on my build, along with rcm rails and a fuelab regulator.

Well I have bought some fuel rails from Infected by sti (Thanks mate!) that he bought from Harvey (RIP). I have sent over all the bits I need over to Darren at Torques so hopefully he'll come back to me with a price today so I can get them ordered as well.

Thanks for all your help and advice guys!

Just thought I'd give Alex and Darren at Torques a good shout so far.

I gave them some less than technical terms on what I needed, they've deciphered what I needed and sorted me out price wise as well along with delivery for Thursday this week. I'd recommend them so far for sure!
