If the v2 rear hubs are from an ra and are r180 then yes they will fit. If they are simply r160 with adapters to allow 2 pots then no. In short, normal classic 4 door sti's have r160 hubs.

R160 hubs have a 170mm handbrake drum and r180 have a 190mm handbrake drum if this helps.

I was sort of thinking that but did not know for defo. I suspected that if they were coming from a v2 then they were probably r160 with adapters for 2 pots.

Just for reference Alyn, I followed your advice when doing mine. I bought a complete set of hubs and swapped them over. Bloody version 3 type r's............!

First of all are you sure you have v2 hubs? As Alyn has stated above the v2 cars didn't have r180 hubs from the factory.

On your v3 type r, like mine, you have r180 shafts, diff and hubs. Non of the parts from the r160 setup are interchangeable.

You would need to try your rear driveshaft in the hub.

The only way to fit 2 pots to your existing hubs is the split each hub, buy the correct backing plate and install a new bearing. Its cheaper to buy a pair of new hubs that are already setup to accept the 2 pots. V4-6 hubs from a type r will do.

There is no way to adapt your existing backing plates to mounts the 2 pots.
