hi guys i own a standard uk my00 classic.

would the intercooler from a wrx bug eys 2001 be a upgrade over my intercooler?

if so....

is it a direct fit
is it worth doing

the v6 sti ones i see about are mega expensive.

SwissTony has retro fitted a newage one I believe,

if it's easy, I want to do it too, but only cos the previous owner fitted an fmic and didn't map it before selling. Plus i have a bug wrx tmic sat here doing nowt.

 

A newage sti is a upgrade over the turbo2000 Intercooler, the sti version 6 isn't much of an upgrade, what other things have you done to your car?

 

ah ok. only cat back, panel filter and y pipe. just wanting to do a few small tweaks.

is later wrx intercooler hard to make fit??
