Default Fit a 1.6 Gearbox to a 2.0 for Grass Tracking

Hi All, Need some help please ASAP season starts soon.

I have read that it would be possible to fit a 1.6 2WD Gearbox
to a 2.0i Impreza Sport ( Apparently if you swap fly wheel, clutch and 1st section of drive shafts it can be done)

Its for for Grass Tracking 2WD Cars only allowed in the class I'm entering.

I know this will upset a few but she is on her last legs and I have just put to much money into her to just brake her, so I would really love to Grass Track her. I think she will do well and will defo be a Special in her class..

Any help or advice I would be very grateful for even if you just know of some one that has successfully done this conversion???

Thank You Tristan

Hi Riiidaa,

Yes I know that as the AWD Box splits power front to rear, I need to fit a FWD Box then the rear drive train can be removed but the question is can a 1.6 Gearbox and other parts listed above be done?

these two non-turbo groups on FB would be worth posing the same question in:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/isn.group/

https://www.facebook.com/groups/498317490208715/

someone in either of those groups may know
