Default Diff upgrade help

Hi guys

I would like to upgrade a differential on my classic, but to be honest I have no ida what needs to be changed or how much would it cost.
Basically I am looking for better driveability(By that I mean powerslides ,donuts)
Because I don't know what diff I have right now, but the car is very understeery and almost impossible to send sideways.
I am planing to build a proper track day car so I would really prefer if it didn't understeer that much.
Thanks for advice in advance ;-)

Martin

Probably not s diff you need. A nice rear arb will take a lot of understeer out. if you want to do powerslides and donuts then you have the wrong car imo

Correct diff will help, but as said, correct arb and coilovers with correct setup will help more,
Then with an aggressive style of driving you will be able to do it,
What power are you running?

Hey there

Well I'm running 320 bhp but I am pretty sure that my rear diff is not an lsd...or correct me if Iam wrong
I have seen stock classics that were able to do donuts so I wonder what was the difference.

To do donuts is not as easy as it looks,
You have to be brutal with the car to make it start to spin,
320bhp is plenty power
What type of classic do you have,
I am sure there will be so guru who will know what diff you have,
I think it's ace that you want your car to do donuts, a man after my own heart,
When you get it spinning, you do go dizzy

Thanks for advice...I know that I might seem silly, but What do you mean by Arb?
Changing the bushes?
