Only one wheel and one side skirt done today; there was alot of claying, decided I don't like Bilt Hamber clay. It needs to be kept in hot water at this time of year

I'm getting around to dealing with these clear protective panels; I've stripped the vinyl off, and thought it would just be a matter of rubbing down the paint with AG tar remover, but it didn't touch it. Each black dot is a minute perforation of the vinyl, which has stained the paint underneath. This yellow paint is really susceptible to staining; even blue screenwash will mark it if left. What do folks suggest? White spirits? Petrol? ISP? I also have a DA polisher, clay etc.
