This is my 06 hawk, to the date 03/05/15, the car put up with 380bhp on a vf35 turbo, cast Pistons, cosworth head gaskets. It pulled 418lb/ft torque, mapped my racedynamix best part of a month ago.

22/04/15 took out the engine, stripped it down, and had a good nose. A spark plug came out pink which indicated a head gasket, but after revealing the Pistons it seemed we had been blessed with Mr wonka and his chocolate factory.

The Pistons are cracked, and very luckily didn't affect the engine. We also discovered that previously ARP 2000 head studs were fitted, and double deck cosworth head gaskets. Also mysteriously the engine was a semi closed deck.
