I bought the car back in 2009 for a main dealer as a standard WRX. I would have been 25 back then and had always dreamed of owning a Subaru, I was a keen WRC watcher and images of Colin McRae blasting through rally stages were really what captured my passion for the cars. So when the chance came up to buy one I jumped at it. I ended up with the WRX rather than the STI mainly because the insurance was just impossible.
