Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
I bought my 22B STi in April 2006 as an unloved, average condition rolling chassis with no engine. I have spent the last 3 years putting the car back together and enhancing it slowly but surely. I'm still loving ownership of the 22B and wouldn't be without it.

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Due to the engine not being included with the purchase of my 22B STi, an EJ22T has been fitted but not before being modified to fit an STi9 gas nitrided crank and bored/honed to fit wiseco pistons. The crank and pistons are held together with eagle rods running on ACL race bearings. An RCM modified oil pump keeps the internals lubricated. The standard 22B STi heads are held on with ARP head studs and sealed to the short block with cometic gaskets. An RCM induction setup feeds the MD321T which provides the combustion air and 740cc injectors provide the fuel fed from a Walbro 255 l/hr fuel pump. Carl Davey parallel insulated fuels rails are regulated by a Fuelab FPR. Inlet air is cooled via a Lateral Performance FMIC and Carl Davey insulated mainfold spacers make sure it stays that way. Once combusted, the exhaust gasses pass through GT Spec unequal headers and up a GT Spec up-pipe. Once through the turbo, they head out through a newage 3" QTP downpipe and if directed the long way via the QTEC valve they will pass through my Hayward & Scott custom made 200 cell sports cat centre section and out my 2.5" Scooby Sport back box. The power from the engine is put through an STi 8 6 speed gearbox (currently running a standard clutch).

Suspension Modifications:
My 22B STi has standard 22B STi suspension, with a Whiteline rear ARB mated to the hubs with powerflex solid rear droplinks. Cusco front and rear under braces keep the chassis ridgid. An STi carbon fibre front strut brace and unknown carbon fibre rear strut brace stop the struts moving around while under hard cornering.

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Standard 22B STi Alloy Wheels & Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 Tyres provide plenty of grip.

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Completely standard looks externally (even has the standard indicators) and internally is only enhanced with STi polished alloy pedals, STi8 gear knob and genuine 22B STi 'Type UK' mats. Read more ยป
