I have posted a new thread message today regarding help with 2 rear R160 lsd diff’s I am building

1 APSurtrac r160 query does it require special output shafts or will my forester SH rear driveshafts work okay with it?

2 vlsd version type 2 I believe as it has 4 pinion gears with the plate pack under the main pinion mounting area, I need to get both output inner shaft ends to make it up to R160 FORESTER SH shafts, do you know or sell these ends, and a vlsd overhaul kit?

Hi David. I would like to replace the uk 6 speed box front diff in my classic hillclimb car. It is currently oe and i'm thinking quaife helical LSD. The box was refreshed a year ago with new carbon syncros and is running fine. But there is now a bit of slop in the front drive splines hence our need to dismantle and we get significant torque steer/wheelspin in the twisty bits hence the thoughts re LSD.

Is it the case that the gearbox sticker does not match the number on the plate (TY856WB6JA)? We are in touch with Saj at JPP, and our man is visting them in two weeks.

We need a complete engine and gearbox because the garage that we bought the car from has stripped ours down fully, to individual components, in response to our request that they find out why the engine was consuming excessive oil, and then demanded a crazy price to put it back together. We had lost all trust in them, and the man that we do trust has suggested that it would be best to install complete replacements, rather than try to reb
