Default ESOC Fishing day

It seems there are a few of us ESOC members who enjoy a days fishing or 2 and so I thought I would get the ball rolling.

For know lets just get a rough idea on numbers and then we can go from there i.e. dates and choice of venue etc.

Blanked every time but that's fishing sometimes you win sometimes you don't!

I go to Furnace in Horsham now, better quality lakes and facilities

Depends on what your looking for, but I know a good fun carp lake where you can catch all day long. It's near Hatfield Peveral.

Sounds good to me. Wouldn't go chasing anything higher than mid doubles etc need to keep the fun factor in. Bag of mixers and loaf of bread sort of event. This could turn out to be a great laugh

Haven't been to Oakford farm for years, prob since the last ESC lake fishing day. I'd be up for another visit, date dependent.

Ian, making it a competition, good call.
I'll give the little fella a call, see if he can drag himself away from his boat for a day.

I thought that might create some additional interest...there is that competitive Essex thing isn't there

Be good to see the wee man, make the call

Seems we have some keen anglers in the club!

Ok next step is a location that everyone is happy with but more importantly a date that the majority can make. Is Chelmsford the central point for us all?
