I think he means in Essex pal.

What part of Essex are you in Allen?

I always use Jet Tyres in Pitsea for any exhaust work, but any tyre/exhaust place should be able to do it for you within the hour.

Depends what you what to spend, you can get a set up for £100 2nd hand on here, or go to Hayward and Scott and get a custom £600 one made.

By going from 2.5 to 3" you would have lost back pressure and killed spool up, unless your going for big power ie past 350bhp you won't need a full 3" system. The best option for a mild powered car is a 2.5" system with a 3" bell mouth downpipe that reduces to 2.5" that way you will keep spool up and still have a free flowing system

Speak to Hayward & Scott.

I had full 3" exhaust on mine, kept the 3" down pipe and went to 2.5" straight through from Haywood and scott,

i got mine done from Hayward and Scott

Had a chat with them over email to work out which one best suited my needs, then turned up and they fitted it there and then.

Very happy with it and the service i got from them.

Also, you can wander around the workshop dribbling at the other customer cars they have in there. When i was there they had a 1930s Aston Martin, racing e-type and an unpainted 911.

Simpson Race Exhausts in Slough did mine.
Doesn't come better than that. Never liked any of the Hayward & Snot stuff. Heavy systems, usually too loud and horrid welds.
You get what you pay for with exhaust systems.
As for 3" killing spool. That won't make a blind bit of difference to spool as its after the turbo. If anything it will aid spool due to the reduced back pressure.
3" systems are also generally quieter than a 2.5 due to the lower frequency of the sound waves and they give a less raspy sound.

I had a look at it yesterday and realised i was down on power because i forgot to do the jubilee clip up on the Y pipe on the turbo. Feel pretty stupid for that. Ive taken it for a spin and its running good now. Not sure if its gained power but it certainly at the same power as before

Im going to grab a 2nd hand cat back exhaust and see which ones best
