Unhappy Get well soon Jimmywrx.

Jimmy was involved in a motorcycle accident last Sunday and was originally taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn. He was unconscious in intensive care in a critical condition and on a ventilator with life-threatening injuries including a broken right collar bone, a damaged right lung and internal bleeding.

He has now been transferred to Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, where he is currently receiving treatment. Although they were unable to go ahead with an operation on his right lung yesterday as Jimmy isn't stable enough at this time, they are reviewing his condition on a regular basis.

Anyone who has been involved with Scoobycity will know he is one of the nicest, funniest people you'll ever meet & what a great bloke he is.

Let's hope he's soon on the mend & giving the nurses the runaround. Thoughts are with him & his family from Jess & I.

Well-known Fakenham auctioneer in critical but stable condition

Latest news on Jimmy.

He had a 6 hour operation yesterday to remove part of his lung. Next 48 hours are vital. Tina, his wife, has also asked to pass on her thanks to everyone at Scooby City & the ESC for all the messages, she has said that all the messages are helping her to stay stong.

Nothing new until yesterday Mark.

He has been awake and off the ventilator for a short spell but is back on it again now. They're just keeping him under to give his body full time to recover.

So very up and down at the moment and they are looking into why he is not progressing as well as he should be by now. So some positive but he really isn't very well.

Unhappy Collection for Jimmy and his family.

Tina his wife is having to travel to see him at Papworth Hospital near Cambridge and with 2 little kiddies aged about 2 and 6 Christmas must be the last thing on her mind, and with his business not being able to run as normal I would imagine things aren't the easiest.

What the Scoobycity team would like to do is have a little collection to help Tina and Jimmy and the children out.

Anyone who knows Jimmy will know that he is such a caring, friendly guy who will do anything for anyone and has been an active Team Member helping out with events for the whole time Scoobycity has been going.

I just ask that if any of you can dig deep please do, money can be sent by Paypal to admin@scoobycity.co.uk stating it's for Jimmy.

Any donation large or small would be very grateful. We will run this for the next 2 weeks.

Thanks.

Thanks Mark & to all that have given to the collection. The response has been great & it has raised £725 which is great.

Sorry for not getting back sooner but been without my landline since Sunday just got it back today.

Jimmy was being moved off intensive care and back to Kings Lynn hospital last weekend (3rd/4th).

That's all I know for now. Will keep you posted. Cheers.

Wow what a difference a week makes. I have just been told that Jimmy has been allowed home & has even been well enough to post on Scoobycity today.

Quote - "I'm back home listening to the x factor! Don't know where the last month has gone but I am gonna stick to 4 wheels from now on!
Hope u all enjoyed children in need, gutted I missed it."

He still has a lot of mending to do but the big improvement in his condition after the initial slow progress is just fantastic news.
