Cool

I am liking the performance as a standard offering and the look.
I mean 3.7 is quick.

I agree with some comments about the price though.
If I spent 15K on the Hawk I wonder what sort of performance could be achieved ?

Tis a nice car, no doubt will be blistering quick, but sorry if i had 50k to spend on a car, i would be looking elsewhere such as

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1694496.htm

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1729170.htm

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1423211.htm

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1741148.htm

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1744401.htm

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1578490.htm

And thats just after 5 minutes of searching. Tell me theres not 1 car in the above list you would choose over the scooby?

Still seems strange to me to see the Cosworth badge on something that isn't Ford.

best thing about it is a warranty. yes of course you could achieve similar performance from modifying a standard car but at the end of the day when it goes bang (which it will - knowing from experience) and when you get endless problems with it (again - knowing from experience) you'll end up paying the same anyway. 50k for this car is a steal, just like it was for the FQ400. That car would EAT a Spec C for breakfast, and did week on week at the posers cruises, and the STI cossie will do the same.

Yes for 6k more you could get a nismo but I have driven one of the new gtrs on road and a track (because I was a hare's whisker away from buying) and I found myself very intimidated. Now I have not yet been able to drive the cossie (but I am ) but I know that I would not be intimidated by it. SO there is the deal. Massive, fully achievable potential. Now if I have a car that has all that power I want to be able to fully use it and make sure it can do what it says on the tin. I just see this car as a fantastic deal. I missed getting an FQ400 and I promised myself back then that if subaru ever did the same I would not pass it up.

Totally agree - go for it....... if I had the money, I would not hesitate for one second and I wouldn't even think of what else I could get for the same outlay... it's an awsome car which will become an icon (IMHO of course)...
