Doesn't look like a front mounted intercooler to me?

What exactly is a turbo charged superchip when it's at home then? Do McCain's make them?

Nice place for the airfilter to sit. Nice & hot.

Oh and it's got blue pipes so that must add 50bhp alone not including the fat chips.

Not that I'm trying to defend it, but it doesn't say it has a front mounted intercooler, but a "Front mounted, water cooled intercooler kit". you can see two brown pipes going into the TMIC, and the front of the car, which I can assume is the front mounted part.

Not a fan of those. Doesn't the additional water (1litre = 1KG) add lots'o weight to a would be track car ? I want a turbo charged chip though

more efficient than an IC so worth the 1kg extra. also spec c has a 12 litre water tank for the IC spray and that's a bloody good track car only thing is that's in the boot so helps on the weight distribution.

2nd that, charge coolers are v efficient, i used to run a pace one on my clio with no complaints at all, used to have to switch it off somtimes on cold winter nights as you'd sometimes get carb freeze!!!

I vaguely remember reading somewhere they were the strongest gearbox at the time of making the esprit tt. Something to do with space limitation to get anything stronger. Or was is that Lotus just run out of money for development and stuck in whatever they could get to fit?

Bet it's still not cheap though as it was out of the Renault Alpine IIRC.
