Hi All,

Does anyone rate AMC, i just got a 2003 WRX STI from them, only had it a week and its been back there almost 2 weeks, the car has engine problems and gearbox problems, all is being sorted under warrenty.

Sales guy Simon and everyone else there seems nice.

Just wondered if anyone has experience with them?

Fairly new dealership so i never used them, only know PPL that have used them for bodywork.

 

I've popped in and as you say they seem friendly enough.

 

The people are nice enough there and there customer service was okay, they always called when they said they would etc.

I know the body shop is technically a separate company I had bodywork done there (my insurance company suggestion) and I would not recommend them from my experience.

Also the Subaru parts people were not very knowledgeable, it took them 3 weeks and 2 wrong orders for them to order me a standard bugeye STI wheel even after me telling them 3 times which model, age etc. the wheels were from!!

 

I phoned them up before christmas to ask if they had/could get one of the children's bikes. After much umming and ahhing, he asked what model it was for! PMSL I said what do you mean, it's a bike!

 

Also not a fan of the parts department. Just the complete negative and quite aggressive attitude i got from them. But i wasn't a fan of the people in the Day's parts department either. Would much rather source any parts needed via Xtreme, Mocom etc.

 

There are 2 and they do actually have part numbers
