Andy Walsh Circuit training
What a weekend!!!!!!
Zak, Frayz & I had a little trip over to France on Friday for some 1 to 1 circuit training with Andy Walsh...
Weekend started with a short trip on the Eurotunnel.
Then an hours drive to Abbeville.
The day is run with lotus on track so we had lots of very light speed machines out on track with us.
Although there were a nice selection of cars out on track...
The day started with light rain and circuit was very wet and very slippery...
This made for great morning with lots of sideways action, but more importantly how to handle the car in the wet. how to get it turn in and if it start to over steer how correct.
We find ourselves pushing the Elise's around the circuit and the great things was that it wasn't just down the straight, but in the bends too!!
Come the afternoon the track had dried out and we were able to put our skills from the morning into use with different conditions. My car personally handles terrible in the dry, with loads of under steer. but with some simple changes from Andy, the turn in was back. He's also given me lots of advice how to set the car up for wet and dry conditions..
But even in the afternoon when the four wheel drive no longer gave any advantage we were still pushing the Elise's through the bends
I honestly can't recommend Andy enough....

Looks like a fantastic day!
Can I ask how much was it?
I hear the petrol is of a lower octane rating over in France - is this true and what did you do in order to counter det? Lots of octane booster?
Sorry for all the questions!

All the info is on their website below
Car Limits
For a day at North Weald approx £180 + Fuel + Tyres
Abeyville is £200 + Fuel + Tyres + getting there!
Personally I would start with a day at North Weald. That would be the single best £'s you will spend on making your car faster!
