Andy Walsh....
Another recommendation for Andy Walsh.....
Just spent 2 hours with him for 1 to 1 tuition.
What a fantastic time!!!!
He has explained to me the benefits of left foot braking and it appears i have a natural feel for the technique, which is great.... (particularly useful for turbo cars, especially those with BIG turbo's like mine )
Spent more time working on trail braking, heel and toe and generally understanding the limits of my car with it's new setup... (you should have seen the black tyre marks left behind when i lost it at 50+)
He also drove the car and commented on how good it felt and that the car was nicely setup and balanced!!!!
Finally we did his mini circuit. He went first and showed me how it's done and put a time in of 55secs, which in his words is a fast time for the circuit (not bad considering the car was only running 1.0bar boost). I then did my lap and managed 57secs. not too far of Andy's time and i know where i lost some of it, so I'm very happy with that.
So again i must say that if you truly want to learn to drive your car fast & ultimately safely and understand why the car does what it does then Andy is a great place to start!

Mine was a 2 hour intensive 1 to 1. wanted a little more of his personal time tailored tomy needs.
Although if you've done one of his arfield days, he will tailor a day event for you too....
He also does a 1to1 training at Bedford aerodrome. did consider this, but i just won't pass the noise limits!
