I thought I was having a bad week until today

Today Hannah my little girl had her first filling She was very brave no needles just drill and fill. I was in shock, no tears not even a scream from Hannah, small one from me .

Then when she got home from her school disco tonight her beloved gerbil had died . As she sat sobing on the sofa, she was watching the tv and comic relief, which meant more tears for the baby who died.

My week seemed not so bad compared to her day

today she has felt the suffering that life brings
with all the bad that goes on in the world
you must remember life is very precious
and one thing that sticks in my mind
is something my dad said to me

son, my one wish in life is to die before my kids

Never had to cope with explain death to kids in a way just glad it was a pet

and I NEVER want to explain the dentist
