Done a tour of Lakenheath ages ago, was great sitting in the cockpit of a Jaguar and Tornado, LOVING IT!!

When I was at school, I wanted to go in the RAF as a aeronatical engineer, but was put off with the 9 year minimum contract, back then it seemed a long time, but now wish I went through with it

I was based at PRB Gutersloh for a couple of years. So if you've never been to an air base. this ones a right eye opener..

Our naffe's have got nothing on ther PX stores on camp.

4. Looie (Depending on how much notice we get! - getting time off work takes a bit of scheduling) - what are the rules on cameras being brought along?

um well you can bring your son and a camera... but in will not be much of a tour as the aircraft are all locked up.... i was just offering for people to buy cheap things in the stores and i can give you a base tour but no flightline things.,.... it will prob be next sunday

and i know Bibo has been waiting a while for this so he can go as well, me and the wife will just have to drive from our house and sign you lot on.... you can park @ MY HOUSE and we can drive from there and i can fit 4 cars in my driveway plus 2 on the street.

sound good

No worries mate, although I was looking forward to it, I think I would rather be on a beach in Goa, eating a curry
