Does anyone else like Scapheap Challenge?
I'm thinking about getting a team together and apply for the show.
anyone else fancy getting their hands dirty on national TV?
Channel 4 – Scrapheap Challenge 2005 – Home
Ideally, we need a team of 3 mechanically minded people, and if we are picked, will need to take about 4 days of work, maybe more if we get in the semi finals etc, but first we got to get shortlisted.
Betts, myself and our supervisor applied the other year, but it seems as we're proffesional bodgers, well all maintenance fitters, they weren't interested, but if the ESC put a team together, who knows, we could pull this off!
Anyone interested?

I think we need a bit of help from the rest of the ESC, we need a catchy name for our team, any suggestions?
Also, the team needs to get together to make a short video, introducing ourselves, and how we know each other, etc which is a lot easier than the other year, as back then we had to design and build a small project. (we called ourselves the stench monkeys, so called because we work for Calor Gas, and at the depot, we add stench to LPG.
Also, we each have to fill in an application form and send the lot off to RDF media LTD.

Fair point Dal, think the best way to resolve this is to submit 2 teams, plus there should be more chance of one of our teams making it to the 'heap.
Candidates:
1. Cornelius
2. Spec'C'57
3. ABW Dal
4. ABW Rob
5.
6.
2 more scrappers are needed
Hope this is satisfactory to all
