Here's one for Frayz
My cousin has a MINT Saphire Cosworth sitting in his garage that he has had from new! It is one of the last Saphire Cosworths built so I think that would make it a H reg?
He was showing it to me about 6 months ago (I forgot he had it lol as he now has had a run of a new Range Rovers and BMW M3 Evolutions) he starts it every couple of months but it has not left the garage in about 4 years????
But when I say it is mint I mean it is still as it left the factory
standard lurvley charcole black paint, purfect full leather interior, factory exhaust, even original "UNCURBED" wheels 
He said I have thought about selling it but didn't want a boy racer to get his hands on it and paint it pink with a stupid spoiler and paint pot exhaust
so it sat in his garage

wow. i bet it's stunning. iirc the saph cos went up to a k plate in production with a very small number on an L plate due to being registered late. Think that there were only 3 or 4 of these.
shame that it's sat in the garge as it was made to be driven. but i can see why he wouldn't want it spoilt if he's kept it all that time.
if he ever did go to sell it, i bet it'd be worth a few £!

you'd get all sorts of silly prices. some would say "it's only and old sierra, i'll give you £1500 because it's a cosworth, otherwise it'd be £200" and others would say it's worth £25k 
would be hard to price really. although i bet frayz will be pricing it up

Bugger just phoned him, it was a late J plate but he said he sold it about 3 weeks ago to an RS enthusiast who gave him 5K for it, with no MOT and seazed breaks (as it has sat for so long)He only sold it to this guy as he wanted it for the RS shows, aparently the guy has it in the workshop @ the moment having the breaks rebuilt, cambelt ect, and then it will be hitting the shows so keep your eyes peeled J**BAA he is a local guy so may see it around the southend/hockley area
Sorry to get your hopes up Frayz
If it's as good as you say that's a bargain!!! even though he's getting the brakes and cambelt done. hope that the new owner enjoys it. bet frayz will be a bit miffed when he reads your post.

I don't know much about cosworths but it was his pride and joy as he bought it before he made his money! He used to pretty much wrap it in cotton wool at the end of each night and had all the servicing done by a friend @ dunton 
Still cant belive he has sold it

As said above chaps, please please please give generously, the USA will be great.. However if enough funding isnt raised then i will add the rest to get to Norway or Germany.
Then the cossie will be off to Jenspeed so it comes back like this.
