Sad news RE Mr Wall Watcher - Michael Stringer
Hello People,
Some sad new regardings Mr Wallwatcher, Michael Stringer.
I know this page gets very little action these days, but I guess a few of the OG ESC members may not be signed up the FB page so slightly out of the loop.
I'm sure we are all familiar or have at least passed Michael on one of the runs throughout the years, as the Wallwatchers have been part of Essex Subaru folklore, you should all know the very sad news Michael passed away on Thursday.
Extremely sad news, I met Michael once and he was a true gent, he was always there come rain or shine on the monthly Basildon to Southend run.

Sad to hear this - glad you posted it on here as there are still many original members who don't have anything to do with Facebook, and who only look at this site...

So Sad to read this, allways their with his good lady waving us all through.
I drove down this week with the run and even looked for them, We had no idea.
Privileged to have stoped and presented them both with their first ESC Shirts
many Years ago.
