Hi all,
Just joined the forum and am in not so sunny Clacton (not quite clacton, thorpe-le-soken but i sound like a snob if i sound too posh!).
I am due to view 2 Impreza's this weekend, one being a 2003 WRX and one being a WRX300. Is there anything major that I should look out for?

Thank you both. I'll pm you.
The three that i'm looking at look like genuine cars but having only ever owned one scoob at the age of 20 (now 30) my opinion on what to look for has changed! Before it was how loud the dump valve was and exhaust! Now its how reliable and clean it is lol.

Welcome to the fold James!
Judging by your username, would I be correct in assuming you would be favouring the latter of the two you are viewing this weekend?
I always find this checklist proves to be an invaluable resource to have to hand-

I wish you all the very best on your search.

James,
Best off posting the links on here for all to see rather than just PM'ing me.
Just be mindful with the budget you're looking at spending that you're not buying into someone else's issues.
An Impreza is a cheap car to buy and an expensive car to run. At the £3k price bracket you need to be prepared to have to spend money on it. Also be very careful about what modifications have been carried out, buy whom and what claims they make.
Personally id be looking for a good well looked after standard car or with as fewer mods as possible with history.
Look out for cheap tat and cut corners. If corners have been cut on the items you can see, imagine what you cant see. Imprezas are a great car, but can be an absolute money pit and minefield if not properly maintained.
