My Forester STi import was broken into in Kelvedon a month ago.
Insurers immediately took car off to their appointed garage - stupidy I was at work and let them. Of course - they are sourcing all parts but are not a Subaru garage and now saying parts are on "back order" and no time frame ...

here is picture of damage : most needed is a drivers window - I'd have thought the standard Forester of same year window would be exactly the same.

any experts out there ? thinking to remove car form this garage if I can find someone who knows what they are doing.

missing the car like mad.

 

Could be worth putting this in the insurance forum? Could attract some better advice there.

Sorry to hear that - I'm in Kelvedon too. Hope you get it sorted out through the insurers and the thread you may have now gone on to.

 

if a window is all you need and dont mind driving to norwich with the car. call dale at 01508558880 . he is a subaru breaker and a garage at very reasonable prices both on part and labor.

 

Hopefully all sorted now and insurers stepped up.
