What about a multi pin socket like this which fits whatever shape as the spring loaded pins move to fit.

This one is 21mm Inside Diameter and 28mm Outside Diameter

I got mine from a tool stall at a Steam Engine Rally for around £5.It easily fits in the recess where my wheel nuts go on my wheels. And any size up to a 21mm nut will fit inside.

You could try Halfords, they open on Sundays & there are two in Cambridge & they sell all sorts of sockets etc. Take one of your lug nuts with you & they may be able to match it up with something they stock.

Lug nut sockets look very much like Torx sockets. I don't know if they are compatable.

19mm Lug Socket

Torx socket

If all else fails you could hammer the nearest size Torx socket on. It might hold just long enough to tighten the lugs up.

so iwent to quick fit and let me tell you about my adventure! first they stripped one of the lugs trying to get it off with a reg socket...so then they put on somthing called a "taskmaster"it looks like a socket but has threads inside(like an inside out screw) they threaded it onto the lugnut and when it couldent go ant further the lug had no choice but to come off... then we had to get that lug out of the socket which it was threaded into... we did so with a bench vice and the air ratchet.... oh fun!!!! that worked about 3times without a hitch... then the lugs stopped coming out of the taskmaster socket thingy....so out came the OXY TORCH heated them up... those nuts come out like butter... but to cool the taskmaster down after ...the bloke poured cold water on it... i thought to myself "this isent gonna last long"...it diddnt the next time it snapped... so next he tryed welding a regular nut to the end of the lug.... that diddnt work so then we heated up a reg socket(one size smaller) until it glowed red.... hammered it on the lug... waited for it to cool and that baby came right off, then we threw away the socket/lug combo the next lug didnt work for some reason with the air ratchet using the same method so the guy fings the most petite socket wrench he has and starts "gorrilla arming the thing" socket tooth breakes off in the socket .... so the genius grabs a pliers and low and behold.... before i could stop him...one scratched WORK Wheel...bronze CR-Kai's..... here is what it used to look like

workwheelsusa

but somhow he got that off and used the previous meathod on the last bugger and now their off... so 40quid and one scratched 450$ wheel later.... ive got the stock wheels and tires back on... i will never use lockable lugs again(especially if they dont sell the lock within 5000 miles)

Those lug nuts of yours must have been done up tight. Had they not been off lately? If they were done up with an impact air wrench then you will have had trouble. Try a dab of copper slip grease on the threads to help ease things for next time.

You may find this of interest. A lot of people use the McGard lock nuts or lock bolts.
