Default 2005 WRX STI Type UK...Is it Remapped?

Hi guys, I boght my first Subaru about 2 weeks ago from a member on here and was told that the car was remapped, I was even provided with a printout from the guy I bought it off.

Yet last night I plugged in my OBD reader and using the torque app recording what boost pressure the car was making. The car seemed to peak at 16.8psi and from what I can gather that is about standard boost pressure for the car, therefore indicating the car doesn't have a remap.

Am I right in my thinking that this is the standard boost level for a 2005 WRX STI Type UK?

How would I go about finding that out? the problem is it wasn't the previous owner that was ment to of had it remapped. It was a couple of owners before him and he's not sure what company actually remapped it.

I've got a print out for 307bhp buts that all.

So with the engine turned on click the rear demister on then off and if it has a Ecutek remap with a high boost map then it will switch over to that one?

foot has to be flat to the floor, do it with ignition on but engine not running and hit the demister switch twice, can be done while driving, do it in a high gear foot flat to the floor and switch twice. think the cel light flashes to tell what setting, ie twice or once for setting 1 and setting 2
