Hi guys! I have 95wrx ra with v7 jdm sti engine. I use Apexi power fc but I want change to Alcatek. I need looking to my engine or for the cables. I use 3plugs ecu now. What is the different v1/2 and v3/4 between?

Hello,I have a few questions to ask you before I can try to help you,are you just running the short block from the V7 JDM STI with your original 95 WRX RA heads fitted to it?,is that right? As the Apexi would not be able to control the AVCS heads,Are you running the 95 WRX RA wiring loom and inlet manifold? Are you 100% sure that it's running a 3 plug ECU as I'm sure that 92-96 model Impreza are a four plug?,If you have answered yes to my questions then you would still need an Alcatek ECU for your original model car 95 WRX RA but try to definitely make sure what plug ECU you are using, just for your reference(92-96 has a 4 plug ecu (yellow loom connectors)97-98 has a 3 plug ecu (with similar type yellow connectors like the 92-96)99-00 has a 3 plug ecu (grey connectors)None of them are cross compatible with other model years ECU plugs.SJ.
