Default Ecu id need

Hi I need a bit of help id-ing a ecu I brought the ecu of some one on this site it's a ppp ecu 99/00 I'm not convinced that the casing has been swapped just want to check b4 I ask for my money back so how the best way to check if its tge correct ecu?

What's it look like/say on the casing?

There are red wax dots on the top of the screws on the casing, they are a give away if its been opened

No it doesn't have the red wax dots neither did the one I took out my car is there no way of tell what ecu it us with the codes that are on the pcb
