351 BHP from standard 2002 STI
As in title just bought a totally standard 2002 STI & would like it to run around 350 BHP. Before I take it to jolly green monster for remap, am I right in thinking I'll only need 1) fuel pump (warlbro 255)
2) De-cat 3" or sports cat
Also I've got a de-cat down pipe & full 3" exhaust off a classic in my garage - will that fit??

The hangers on the back box are different I think but apart from that the exhaust will fit.
You should see somewhere around 330bhp, you might want to add a 3 port boost solenoid to your list.
But i'd speak to simon if I were you then you'll get a better idea of what to expect and he'll have an idea exactly what it is your after re drivability.

350 on a vf35 is possible, but dont expect it, 330 is prob nearer the mark, anythign mroe is a bonus.
to get a higher figure I've seen the results of some mappers go too aggressive with timing and cause det without thinking about the consiquences.

Yes, there are a band of so called (Professional) mappers running around mapping peoples Imprezas with little or no engineering background and certainly no understanding of how the OEM ecu works.
I was subjected to one of these maps just the other day, shocking

In the right hands and on the right supporting modifications, the VF35 is plenty capable of 350bhp and safely too.
