Yep, it's just the wastegate (I think). With a normal airbox the sound is muffled but with the induction kit you can hear it

I had exactly the some when I fitted my induction kit, I still have it now and I'm not even running a DV/BOV

I've removed the recirculating blow-off valve and blanked the bung - I've fitted a front mount intercooler rather than use the top-mount and haven't got around to plumbing the BOV back in so I hear the wastegate 'chatter' back through the induction kit and therefore know it's not the BOV or a dump valve

They should really be fitted and the car mapped to rescale the MAF otherwise the car can run lean - that results in knock which in turn melts pistons

The standard airbox with a good panel filter is good to around 400bhp, but if you fit a FMIC you need to add an induction kit as the airbox no longer fits

I left mine until I was ready for a remap, I ran the car but didn't boost it too much until then
