Default 1998 Impreza STI Boost Problem

Hi all recently bought a 1998 subaru impreza STI and its running like **** .. when idling it has a slight misfire ...

When driving and try to put your foot down the car hesitates like mad (feels like its starving for fuel) ...

I have fitted new plugs .. checked HT leads .. cleaned boost solenoid .. checked turbo actuator .. checked for splits / cracks in the piping ..

Don't know what else to check .. been told could need uprated fuel pump fitting ?? or could be to do with the baileys dump valves ??

Any ideas / help would be appreciated ??

maf, dirty boost solenoid, worn plugs or wrong gap. vacuum leak. check these 1st. dont worry about the airfilter and exhaust for time being. also check the timing and there is a actual spark from the ht leads
sorry just read through your post again and realised you already done most.

Changed plugs, all leads have spark, cleaned boost solenoid yesterday .. I'm thinking it could need a uprated fuel pump fitting .. But will change maf before fitting new pump

Why not get it checked somewhere where the definitive problem can be pinpointed and addressed. It could be any one of a number of things.
