Gems ecu dongle
hi,
recently purchased a gems ecu for my 95 classic, awaiting delivery...
currently use an apexi power fc and had fun tuning it via the fc datalogit equipment.
however fancied getting a gems for the extras and ability of being maf-less. so now looking for a dongle, anyone know where i can buy one asap?
cheers

Hi there
I would contact GEMS directly, but what I know SimTek/AlcaTek is based on the GEMS boards, whihc means any dealer of the SimTek/AlcaTek should be able to help you if not contact GEMS directly

This seems to pop up a lot when gems is mentioned. However also seen good results with gems when they have been mapped correctly. Dongle on route so time to learn the new software. Idle parameters do look to be complicated at first glance but but it's a challenge I like to take on. Car will become my next comp car after this new season.
Cheers

My bug has been running a GEMS since 2004 and yes the poor starting can be a pain but I am used to it now. Unfortunately the neighbours still are not used to it (LOL). Thinking that best give them a reminder in the morning. But once it's coughed and spluttered for a short while I have no issues.
