Can I stop now.....?
Posting this as there aren't many self mapping threads in this section yet.
I've been mapping my 2001 WRX Wagon on and of for the last month or so, mods are -
De-cat Turbo back exhaust(stock up-pipe still in place for now)
STi TMIC
STi Inlet Manifold(TGV Delete)
NGK 7's
K&N Panel Filter
Walbro 255
550 Pink's(upgrading turbo eventually)
3 Port BCS + MBC in parallel
My own map.
I've been using ECUTek's Road Dyno software, on as flat a road as you'll ever find, for comparison runs. (Mapped to the det line and pulled back) Can any of the guys that map these cars day in day out tell me if this is typical on this software for a TD04 equiped 2.0 WRX. -
(Wheel Horsepower)
Allowing 18% transmission error would be 292/305, I'll take it to a RR soon to confirm.
In Gear Acceleration:
30 - 50mph = 3.2 seconds
40 - 60mph = 2.6 seconds
50 - 70mph = 2.5 seconds
60 - 80mph = 2.8 seconds
I can post logs if anyone's interested.
Cheers,
Paul

Too long ago for me to remember but it looks decent. What sort of boost peak are you running?
If you can be sure of keeping away from knock in all circumstances you might make the car feel faster by running more torque, but it depends whether you can exchange some boost for timing and make a gain whilst reliably staying knock free and not worrying too much about your transmission. I've no idea these days what is considered reasonable overboost on your model.
Plotting boost vs RPM, AFR vs RPM, ignition and knock vs RPM can also be interesting, as I'm sure you've been doing.

19PSI from 3-5Krpm then drops to 13psi to the red line. I found there's no point trying to hold any more than that up top.
I've been through a lot of your posts on various forums from about 10 years ago, lots of usefull info in there!
