Default Group N Mapp in a 55 plate WRX not quite there yet

Hi All,
I'm starting to have a go at mapping my 54 plate WRX and things were going well until I started to mapp for when on boost. All standard apart from 560cc injectors, VF35 turbo, a 3inch turbo back exhaust and a 3 bar boost sensor.
The car will go into boost but only at high revs eg 5000 and touches 1bar. What I need to do is get it to boost from 2500 onwards. I'm running a speed density (i.e. mafless) map and this is the issue. Using a different map that uses the maf it goes like a rocket but I need the speed density mapp so as to use launch control as the car is only used for sprinting and hillclimbing. I am using carberry 4.2 to mapp the car and ecu flash. Any pointers welcome.

you can run caberry 4.2 in MAF mode - doesn't have to use speed density. Did you try and use the base 4.2 map or did you try and actually adjust the map to suit your car? Very hard to give any help at all without seeing the map or some logs.

Thanks for this but really pleased with it now and we made a mistake in the target boost table therefore it wasn't requesting full boost at full throttle. Schoolboy error so I'm told but all sorted and thanks for the info.
