Try Ric Wood (0161 4834810), ADE Tuning (01254 676899, Blackburn, but good with Subarus).

Don’t be afraid to travel too, TD Racing in Warwick are top notch too, it pays to travel sometimes. I’ve used many Subaru tuners over the years and They tick all the boxes for me, just fitted Simtek to mine and mapped it, Mark’s mapping is spot on.

I've got the go ahead for the ecu up grade which I could have done with out right now .I need to do something asap as it was my daily runner for work. Some say the 8s ecu has the immobilizer built in to my ecu. Subaru say it doesn't. My car is immobilized and carnt move .Is an aftermarket ecu going to get round my problem

Depends on the ECU, but I don't think any of them use the immobiliser functionality.

I've been looking at the wiring tonight for the immobilizer 4 wires come out of the box for the reciever. I've got red wire which is power and the I've got 2 black and red wires that join together and dissapear up the back of the dash with 3 other wires.ive also found like a light aqua green wire which does the key light on the dash. So my remaining wires must go to the ecu I'd of thought. One must be ground another live and memory wire and power for the fuel pump. It's not looking straight forward at all
