Default New Car decat possibly no remap?

Hi guys new on here so hi to everyone

I have just bought a 2005 wrx and noticed rather a lot of turbo lag which is also present at spirited driving between gear changes.
I was told by the seller that the car has full decat exhaust turbo back including down pipe.
The car also came with a dyno print out from 2010 showing 274bhp
my concern is that the decat has not been mapped into the ecu and this is causing this turbo lag between gear changes whilst spirited driving and also before 3500 rpm
forgot to mention this is sometimes worse than others and sometimes not there at all
any advice would be greatly appreciated

You need to get it on a rolling at a Subaru specialist to check the fuelling to see if it has been mapped with the de-cat.

Okay thank you I was thinking that would be the best way to check
there is no EML on so I would guess the decat is mapped in
also thinking it might be the BOV that has been fitted causing the symptoms I am experiencing
