Hi Everyone,

I have bought a 2008 Outback Estate 2.5 manual. The car originally came from Switzerland so it is LHD and originally in KM. Someone imported it into the UK and converted the speed to MPH but the dash is the original that shows upto 240. I have now brought the car to Spain so want to convert it back to KPH.

I have removed the dash cluster to remove the sticker that made it look like the speed was in MPH by covering the K. Behind the cluster is a small black box (photo attached) which I'm guessing is the speed converter but if I disconnect it I get an error (ER IU) which doesn't surprise me.

Am I right in thinking this box is a speed converter? If it is can it be adjusted via the jumper pins? Do I need a new one that's setup for KM?
