Hope someone can help.
My impreza 1994 sti, done coil pack conversion and all has gone well for about 5k. Stopped on a hill and the engine felt a bit rough then I turned it off and it would not re start.
Here are some of the checks I have done.
1)I have compression (test done). 2)Also checked the timing marks. No change and all line up.
3) checked resistance of cam and crank sensors all seem within a few ohms of a new one
4) lugs on crankshaft seem intact
Lugs on cam seem there
5) changed battery for new onemail. Exide one
6)checked voltage pulse at the 4 wires that were bypassed and only 1 had a pulse. Others were 0v
7) cut 4 wires on the ecu that go to the coil packs .2 of these have a pulse 2 do not (4 plug ecu)
8) changed ecu to a good known z4 no change
9) installed hdi earth kit and checked earths. All seem fine with multimeter
10)removed very dodgy turbo timer and alarm.
11)changed ecu water temp sensor

Still no improvement. I am slowly loosing the will to live. I must be missing something.

Has anyone had a similar fault???

Or shall I Burn it!!!!!
