when is a map tweek requied
Hi all I am a bit confused as to when a map tweek is required if swapping parts over.
I have a new aem short ram induction installed and mapped in the same day if I went back to stock air box and panel filter would it need tweaking or would it run fine.
Also fitted a 3 port boost valve can you change to a different manufacturers 3 port without tweaking map?
Sometimes I like just chopping and changing bits see what I like the look of or sound of best but not sure the can or cant with touching map all the time

if the MAF scaling was changed by the mapper then changing back to stock maf would cause you problems. Changing the BCS to another brand may have an impact on the boost control tables as well - not all 3 ports are created equal so 30% on one solenoid may not be the same as 30% on another brand.
