In very basic terms the boost control kit on/off tells the powerfc if it is controlling the boost or not. Varying years this will be clicked or in licked just to aid confusion lol

If it was fine and you turned the avcr off (switched power off or to the off boost setting), the light shouldn't come on as the powerfc is only aware it is or isn't controlling the boost.

Firstly in logging what is highlighted red? This is what is causing the engine light. No. Connectors under the dash work with powerfc.

If you are on the commander check in "sensor/sw check" the fault will be highlighted.

As an aside what's the boost issue?

Hi bud thanks for replying. The boost issue was what i think is overboosting as i think i was hitting fuel cut . As for the cel it came on and stayed on when i switched boost control off at commander. I always noticed a slight chatter from apexi boost solenoid but i was getting alot of chatter when i floored it before hitting fuel cut thats why i switched it off to see if it would overboost from wastegate. Thanks
I don't know if a sensors away as I don't know what the values should be to compare with my sw/sensor check

So you don't have data logit so nothing will be red. Data logit is the laptop based tuning software.

You haven't turned the boost control off you have told it you are using the ecu to control the boost not the avcr and it has error end because it can't control the boost as it's all plumbed to the avcr. So change that back. Would seriously advise not changing stuff without knowing what you are doing.

What boost is it mapped to?

With the boost control kit seitched for avcr you wont have a boost cut so I would suggest its a coilpack misfire or something like that

Have they been working okay?

Double check your ignitir bypass wiring, maybe worth checking plugs.

If all is okay set avcr to OFF boost setting. From memory left arrow on boost on the top screen turns it off. This will be actuator pressure only. See how it drives.
