Default opensource map tweak needed or not?........

Hi guys, I know this sort of topic has come up may times before but they don't give the exact answers I'm after.

Ok so last year I had my 2004 sti engine remapped using opensource running mafless.
Since remapping I have changed the inter cooler to a much bigger one and also installed a much better flowing air filter.
Is there any need to have the map tweaked? I kind of feel it wouldn't be necessary as the mafless setup should be capable of adjusting everything but hence the thread I thought I would find out for sure.

Thanks Ian.

mafless setup (manifold air pressure) is not capable to compensate for any changes as it stores settings in fuel tables specific to the setup. technically you should be able to achieve higher pressures and lower temperatures faster to your previous setup.

as a result, you need to update your tables to reflect the changes.

A potential disadvantage of converting an engine from MAF to MAFless mode is that where the MAP sensor is used to measure airflow, the corresponding fuel calculations must be performed by the computer based on tables of information programmed by the engine tuner.

Oh right OK, thanks for the replies. I kind of wrongly assumed that they map sensor would see a higher pressure so therefore would adjust things.
I'd best avoid driving it then till its been remapped.
