Meet at 11am at the Two Mile Bottom Car Park (near Thetford)map link

Leave about 11:30 am

We'll then do a wiggly route and end up at La Houge farm shop cafe http://www.lahogue.co.uk/ The route is about 50 miles of mainly b roads

If anyone wants to meet at La Houge, we should be here about 1pm (ish)


For anybody travelling from the Kings Lynn area, a few guys are meeting at Arbuckles off the A10 at 10am for a 10:20 departure and then convoy to Thertford map link

I'm after a favour if at all possible

On the 27th, does anyone have a spare co-pilot seat available for my son?

He's 21 and an enthusiast, however his mum won't give up her seat in mine

It doesn't have to be for the whole event but would be very much appreciated if someone can help out

He loves coming out with me in the car especially when we go slightly over the speed limit

I hope the weather improves for this

 

The long range forecast say's no more snow here after Monday but we had hardly anything yesterday and last night. It's forecast to be cold but dry next Sunday at the moment so praying to the weather god that it will be OK as desperate to get back out.

 

I'd love to but as the tax and insurance for both my cars was falling close together I SORNed the scoob for a while to split it up a bit

Must be strong and not tax the thing till end of feb but damn its hard!

 

Im afraid my car will be staying tucked up in the garage unless this bloody weather sorts itself out.

 

thats not going to happen for a few weeks, im with you though a b road blast in the ice is going to lead to bent metal.

 

Providing the roads are clear of snow/ice we are still going and with rain forecast later in the week that should also take care of the salt.

 

Hi all,are we still going ahead with this as been on a couple of B-roads around kings lynn & they aren't good at mo' ,or are we going to see how it is nearer the end of the week?

 

Travelling to work, the B roads are improving but not suitable at the moment, however the forecast up until and including Sunday is getting warmer and with rain which should take care of the snow.

I will be checking one of the most notorious B roads on Saturday and can update then.

We will still be going whatever as last opportunity for us until March and friend coming over with his Scooby on Saturday.

Mate's already arrived from Rushden so we are both going one way or another. If the B roads are likely to be pants then yes happy to meet at pub for lunch.
