As above, so car is off the road whilst I decide what I am gonig to do with it.
Probably weigh it in as no funds.

I dont suppose your mobile mechanic friend might fit a clutch and flywheel? I havent ever used a mobile mechanic before but a local guy ian (posts in this section) spoke of someone who was mobile, maybe it was your fella.
I'm having a little trouble with my usually very friendly garage not wanting to do the job. They have kept me waiting for 6 weeks saying they are too busy to fit me in.
What sort of work has this guy done for you? Wheres he from, i'm just north of cambridge... maybe i should just call him myself!

Tim fitted my clutch on the driveway in about 2 1/2 hours just using trolley jacks. Some of the garages I asked were quoting 5-10 hours!!!!!!!

Oh dear, head gasket gone.
Gutted as only had engine rebuilt 6000 miles ago.
So Tim has taken engine away today to get it done.
Going to get sports cat fitted and there was another oil leak so getting that done too, oh and new rad of course.
Will be as good as new when back.
