When you organise one or in mattyb's case when it stops raining, so in 2014 for him

 

This thursday night is the jap club meet. Good mix of all cars there, normally supras, soarers legacy gtb's and me in my ****ty Saxo vtr until the scooby on the road in a week

 

Lol tommy, I'm more of a when and where person rather than an organiser,those cars sound femiliar do u mean the pure jdm lot?

lol it has rained everyday for about three months though and doesnt ever look like stopping

 

I know, god only knows where our bloody summer is.

been up a few times over the summer.

 

It's just a 'run what ya brung' day, me and a couple of pals are going along to run our cars.

getting there, finishing off cosmetic stuff first.

roof flap is last bit to do and thats being fitted on the 14th.

got fmic,sc46 and a few other bits in the garage.

just need to collect a few other parts and fit it all at once so i only need one mapping session.

should be all done by then.

Did you end up sticking some spacers on like I mentioned ?

 

not yet but now bodywork is done or will be on the 14th, and i nearly have all engine stuff collected.
next on the list is the brakes.

i have some ap 6 pots for the front and when i fit them im going to sell on my brembos and buy some ap 4 pots on the rear then see what it looks like.

its an ongoing money pit project......... as you know thats how they all are.

 

There is a meet on tomorrow night that purejdm are attending. It's meeting about 8pm in pboro. There was circa 100 cars at last 4 weeks back.

 

This turned out even in the rain to be a great night. There was a huge turn out again. There was some interesting driving as time progressed and was a really good turn out. The last two have been on a Tuesday drawing large crowds, minimal police presence and huge turnouts.
