The first one started small, and I ended up having to leave early, however it was a cracking start.

So, I propose a monthly meet from here on in if everyone's up for it?

Perhaps a weekday evening to make it easier for those with families / partners etc - as weekends can be tough.

How about Thursday April 7th - venue TBC

 

ill be up for this, but depending on location, as start work at 4.30am so cant be to far away from cambridge

I'm sure I could book the odd nights holiday for one or two of these.

Dont mind travelling a bit if it encourages more to attend EA is a pretty big region after all.

 

I personaly carnt do week day nights, but will be there for most weekend meets if possible

Fridays are fine by me, but I suspect others may have an issue with it - being the 'going out night' and all.

What about Sunday afternoons?

 

'going out night', lol. I haven't been out on the lash since getting back into a impreza. Somehow seems to empty my wallet for me, lol.

Sunday afternoons are fine for me too, just need to give the wife a couple of days notice.

 

Being on permanent nights the week is no good for me hence suggesting the first meet on a sunday afternoon.

Trouble is you aint never going to please everyone weekday or weekend!

Weekends are fine with me, just a thought but how about a trip to the drifting at Norfolk arena as a meet? May 21st-22nd, only over in Kings Lynn.

I'd love to but daren't risk my box. The old 5 speed is on it's last legs now.. Lol. Would have a ride over there with ya though.

 

You thinking of changing the box? Why not let it go in a blaze of glory on the strip. I'm busy the next few weekends but if I decide to go I'll stick it up on here. Obviously depends on the weather, I always give pod a miss if it looks like rain after previous hours watching tractors mince about on the strip!

If weekends are good for people how about the 3rd sat of every month ?
Alternate locations if need be due to the size of the area.
That would make the next meet sat 16 April, any takers ?

To be honest, weekends are pretty much a 'no go' for me. I have a young daughter so there is always something I have to do. Maybe able to make the odd meet but won't be a regular.
No worries though, I understand that not everyone can be pleased.

 

Right chaps, reckon Im going to grab a few hours kip sat morning after work then head to pod for rwyb on saturday. Anybody else interested?
