Hi all,

Thought i'd start a new thread to make it nice and clear when and where we're meeting

When:

Saturday March 5th, 2011 from 3pm onwards

The Hampton

This is located just behind the large Tesco Extra in Peterborough - easily accessed from Jct 17 of the A1.

I'll put a courtesy call into the pub, just to let them know we're coming, as if it's a good location for a meet, it would be good to keep them happy.

As usual with club style meets, please be courteous when arriving / leaving and while in the car park. Over revving of engines or driving like an idiot never goes down well. We all know what our cars can do, we don't need to show it off

I'll be there from 3 ish, and if anyone would like my number in case of getting lost or otherwise, just shoot me a PM and i'll send it over.

Hi all

Sorry we had to duck out so quickly - there were guys working in our garden that were supposed to turn up at 9 and be done before the meet, but sadly didn't show up until 1, so had to get back to sort them out.

Was good to meet you all (albeit briefly!), and promise to stay longer at the next meet. Perhaps we should look at a midweek night or something?

Would anyone fancy a once a monther or something similar? Perhaps try a different pub next time? As the wife rightly pointed out as we drove in "who has a scooby meet in a pub with such a big speed bump"!.

Anyhow, sorry for the poor quality, but took a quick snap on my phone on the way out

Sorry guys and gals but I am rubbish with names/faces so apologies if I dont remember. Was lovely to meet up with a few enthuiasts, highlight being the 500hp (after map hawkeye). Have told the mrs were remortgaging next week! Hope to see you all soon especially as weather is improving, nice to know Im not the only one in a 1.6 astra round here.

Perhaps we can arrange to go to a show or something!

Dont get a scoobyclinic one like mine if you dont want too loud. On the other hand its rather useful for drowing out moaning children (and womensorry ladies couldnt resist!)

Anyway couple of pics from yesterday......The full line up, shame we didnt get any classics but maybe next time hey! Chavs please note we didnt meet at maccy d's hence the red cross.
