i looked into this when i had my FTO at Wittering and the owner of the airfield said you had to have insurance that covers you up to £1m

but that was on a active airfield etc, then there was all the security for vetting people on etc

i hope that helps out a little with maybe what to look in to

i know different airfields different rules etc but thought it may help
regards

They do this at Thorney Island, so you could get in touch with them to see how they organise it

I'll be up for coming if you get it sorted

RAF Marham do a couple of track days each year but it is a lot of hard work. Insurance, marshalls, safety crews, catering etc.

It might be worth having a chat with a guy called George Denman at Marham who organises these days. He could fill you in on what's invloved.

I would be up for this as well, only live up the road and pass it everyday on my way to and from work, sounds like a great idea, what sort of condition is the runway in?
