Only put it in lock if going straight at low speeds as it tries to keep the wheels all at same time thus outer wheel same speed as inner

Mines did it when i first started using it 3 years ago but i only lock if going straight from stationary as it improves traction, maybe someone else has similar issues

the 'lock' setting is really only to be used for poor conditions like snow, mud, etc. and will pretty much always give the symptoms you describe as it like using 'diff lock' on a land rover, etc.

It's normal, and I believe the manual even states somewhere that you should expect the feelings you described plus some awful clunking.

I have been told its best to have the diff open or on the first orange, but I just leave mine in auto.

I only lock the diff when launching (on a private road).

do you have miss matched tyres on it ie different tread depths? they do get a bit clunky when in locked but more so if different tyre brands and ware differences between sides on the same axle.

All the tires are fine, that's alright then. I only put it in lock because I had a couple accidental drifts in it when the turbo kicked in but I read that in auto it's 65 percent power at the back and 35 at the front but when you enter a corner it goes 50/50 anyway
